I dont think ive seen an animated film that has gotten this much of a polarized response for a while. When the first trailer dropped for fixed, the latest film from genndy tartakovsky and sony pictures animation, people were really torn on it. It was a film that slipped by my radar last month due to my busy schedule and needless to say, i didnt miss much. Its certainly a slow film, but to watch as director gisaburo sugii weaves the book written by kenji miyazawa into a powerful piece on human spirit and the questions we have about ourselves and our aftermaths.
